We have recently reported about the project to install a new radar speed monitoring system SINCRO (Sistema Nacional de Controlo de Velocidade) at 50 locations all over Portugal. Via Verde, the Portuguese electronic toll collection system, has now published a list and map of these locations. In the Algarve three spots on the EN125 have been identified as "extremely critical" and will be included:

• Lagoa - Portimão near Estombar: 37.141, -8.474
• Ferreiras - Guia near Algarve Shopping: 37.129, -8.274
• Faro - Almancil near the junction to the airport: 37.037, -7.950
