Odeceixe is a parish (freguesia) in the municipality (concelho) of Aljezur. It was raised to village status (vila) in 2001.
The village is located on the stream Ribeira de Seixe within the nature reserve Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina near the border of the neighbouring Alentejo. The landmark of Odeceixe, a windmill still operational today, can be already seen from miles away.
The Ribeira de Seixe flows into the Atlantic Ocean a few kilometres west of the village at Praia de Odeceixe, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Vicentina.
