The church, dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Encarnação, has been erected in the 16th. century.
Museum near the Ermitage Nossa Sra. de Guadalupe
Museum near the chapel with exhibits from the time of Henry the Navigator. The banner in front of the museum says: "After the passage of (Cape) Bojador, the world has no longer been the same" , reflecting the first surrounding of this point of the African western coast by Gil Eanes in 1434, that started the Age of the Portugese Discoveries.
