The Millennium course was designed by the English architect, Martin Hawtree, and opened in May, 2000.
A great deal of forethought went into the planning and Millennium course is surely destined to become one of the most attractive courses built to date in Portugal. In a beautiful setting within the pinewoods and natural countryside, it has a layout that offers variety and interest for the golfer.
Since more than 30 years the resort of Vilamoura, located at the Atlantic coast between Vale do Lobo and Pine Cliffs, has contributed to establish the legendary image of the Algarve as one of Europes leading golf destinations with strong commitment to protect the natural environment. With the inauguration of the Victoria Course in 2005 Vilamoura offers five 18-holes courses of different character. |
