The San Lorenzo Golf Course is rated n° 1 in Portugal and one of the best in Continental Europe by Golf World Magazine.
The course was opened in 1988 and takes advantage of the wonderful topography on the Quinta do Lago estate, winding its way gently over undulating pine woodland.
The 18 holes are bordering the Ria Formosa Estuary and Salt Water Lagoons. The course, designed by the American golf architect Joseph Lee, is laid out in a figure of eight and at the heart lays the clubhouse with comfortable changing facilities and welcoming bar and restaurant. Beautiful Bermuda grass fairways provide perfect playing conditions all over the year.
