| At first the coast from the Spanish border to the West is flat. Endless sandy beaches stretch alongside fertile land that is still cultivated as farmland. After Manta Rota the coast is shaped completely differently: on the coast, there are wide sand banks with dunes and unspoilt beaches. The lagoons behind are rich in fish and seafood, especially oysters and mussels. |
