Angels Theatre Group
The popular English theatre group from São Brás
The Angels Theatre Group was founded in 2008 by Joy Behennah and Marion Griffiths, feeling that there was an opportunity to provide light hearted entertainment, whilst raising money for local charities in the Algarve, Portugal. The group is a member of the British Music Hall Society.
The first production was already staged in May 2008,at the Stable Gallery in the São Bras Museum. The theme was The Old Time Music Hall and the small cast of eight played to a packed house for one night only.
To date, with the help and support of its grateful audience the Angels have raised over 45,000 € for the community.
