Nice sandy beach on the eastern coast between Monte Gordo and Altura
The beautiful beach of Praia Verde is situated on the eastern Algarve coast between the beaches of Cabeço and Alagoa (Altura).
The private holiday resort of Praia Verde is situated on top of a small pine tree covered hill, near the national road EN125 from Monte Gordo to Altura. It affords fabulous views to the Atlantic coast line. From there a narrow road leads down to the well known beach restaurant Pezinho n'areia, and there is also a wheelchair accessible boardwalk, which goes further down to the beach.
