Café Aliança in Faro

The emblematic café in the centre of Faro opposite the marina has been reopened end of July 2016.Erected already in 1930, it is one of the oldest coffee houses in entire Portugal, together with the A Brasileira in Lisbon (1905) and Majestic in Porto (1921). The new owners have converted it into a typical Portuguese “Cervejaria”, serving steaks and beer as well as regional specialties and various snacks.
