After the hottest summer ever, the flora in the Barrocal region of the Algarve has almost faded away. Only the evergreen carob and olive trees, migled with wild pistachio and other shrubs, add a little colour to the earthy-brown of the landscape. However, at the second look, you may still find some vital signs of the nature: green olives, mature pomegranates, red and orange berries of pistachio and other shrubs, almonds, berries of the wild asparagus and, and, and....
