Like every year the traditional carnival parade in the centre of Loulé, the capital of carnival in the Algarve, attracted thousands of spectators from far and near. The main topics were An gela Merkel dominating Europe with her austerity prgramme and the former prime minister Socrates, prosecuted for money laundry and corrruption, actually jailed in Evora. And of course the body painted Brazilian dancers attracted the attention.
